Reel opinions

Welcome to our new interview segment, REEL OPINIONS - a place where we take a deep-dive into the motivations, inspiration, and often unusual thought processes behind the filmmakers whose work Festival Formula represents on the Festival Circuit.

In conversations with FF’s founder, Katie Bignell, and social media wizard, Jess Sweetman, these unique portraits delve into where our talents find their ideas, how they navigate the creative and production process, and any other obsessions we can find.

Katie has been working with filmmakers for years - and as each creative behind a film is often as interesting as the work they make, she decided to help shine a spotlight on some of the humans behind the films we love to share.
