Jacob Perlmutter’s rock ‘n roll route into filmmaking

Jacob Perlmutter has done it all, from being a child filmmaker roping in his parents in his shenanigans, to rock photographer, to musician, and all the way back to filmmaking. He’s an award-winner to boot. 

His 2022 short A Wall appeared at the Dam Short Film Festival, Newport Beach Film Festival and more. In this video he chats to FF’s Katie Bignell about his career and life to-date, his love of editors, the joy of the BuSho festival in Budapest, .
