Reel opinions – Nathan Morris

From failure to Sundance: Nathan Morris tells us why he’s more serious than his shirts may suggest

Filmmaker Nathan Morris originally hails from New Zealand, but cut his teeth as an editor in the UK before heading to the Big Apple. His latest short My Eyes Are Up Here has been taking the festival world by storm, screening at Tribeca, In The Palace, San Luis Obispo, Beeston, Vancouver International Women in Film Festival, The Pan African Film Festival February, the London Short Film Festival, Flickerfest, and Slamdance.

In this quickfire interview he promises FF’s Katie Bignell that he’s not as silly as his shirts may suggest, muses on learning through failure, and overshares about collecting used chewing gum as a child.
