During times of war it’s easy to put aside the importance of the cultural arts. At Festival Formula we strongly believe it is through the art of storytelling we can understand people from all walks of life and bring empathy to those who need it most. Below are festivals who have/will curate programmes in support of Ukrainian filmmakers and cinema.

Through our research these focus film festivals and programmes begin to appear during and many years after a country experiences conflict. It is through attendance we can keep a culture alive and recognise the ordeal a society has to heal from.
